Around Home, Fall, 2006

When we got home, we decided to clean up the yard a bit.

The leaf piles out back got pretty tall this year.

This one goes back about 20 feet.

But there aren't many leaves in the yard.

The gutters are for later.

The township picks up the leaves out front, eventually.

After a busy day outdoors, we settled down to watch football.

The buckeyes beat the wolverines.

Remember our "Deer Resistant" Yews (installed March 13, 2006)?

March 26, 2006 -- Deer not resisting deer-resistant yews.

Here they are now, November 19, 2006, a lot worse for wear.

I guess I should have put up another fence.

The yard has been very popular with squirrels and birds today.
