Wine Tasting Events Benefit CREW

March 3 (Rescheduled from Thursday, Feb. 21) Manatee Springs • (Australia Theme)

The first event of the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden’s 2008 wine tasting series. All proceeds benefit the Zoo’s Lindner Center for Conservation and Research of Endangered Wildlife (CREW) – the umbrella for all local and international conservation and research efforts of the Cincinnati Zoo.

The series kicked off this year on Monday, March 3 (rescheduled from Thursday, Feb. 21) with an “Australia” theme at the Zoo’s Manatee Springs. This first event featured four white wines; Pillar Box White, D’arenberg Stump Jump, Shoofly Buzz Cut White and Olive Grove Chardonnay. The event also featured four red wines; De Lisio Quaterback, Evil Cabernet, Paringa Shiraz and Boarding Pass Shiraz. The wine is courtesy of EQ the Cooking School at Party Source.
