Easter Party at the Lodge, March 24, 2018

The challenge: raw egg packaged in 4 x 4 inch container
to survive dropping from the second floor to the first floor dining room.

The results: most, but not all, survived the drop.

Checking the first egg dropped.

Tom and Veronica watching the landings.

Dropping the next entry.
(Gregg was the holder for Tom's entry)

Winners and losers all end up smashed.

Winner of a nice teddy bear (for his daughter).

Kids watching their entry as it hits the ground.

Checking to see if it survived.

The kid's egg survived the drop.

Tom's entry, (just dropped above) had a very soft landing.
The raw egg was wrapped in plastic, then in a swiffer dusting pad,
then placed in a styrofoam soup cup, all supported
by a red parachute from Veronica (a grandson, I think).
To ensure an open parachute, a blue balloon was tied in, too.

Tom's egg survived the drop!

So he got to smash it to prove it was raw.

His prize was a set of bunny ears.
