Inauguration Ceremony

Out of the subway and made it to the first green ticket gathering spot.
Security screening and gates will open at 7am. We are feeling good!

Ana Maria, Ben and Maura - tickets out and ready to go!

Funneled into the 'cattle chutes' awaiting security screening.
Our hopes died in this line.... just were not lucky as it took 1.5
hours to progress through the screening point.

Tree Nut

This is as far as we got.... no good sight lines for us, after all.
However, we do have a jumbo tron and the knowledge that we are indeed
on the Capitol Lawn. Also we have the Tree Nut.

So jammed, you could not move.

He yelled for 5 hours. What a country.....

Thinking on top of the box.... for a while these portolet perchers
had a good view, but the police cleared them off the Don Johns.

Ladders arrive... surely the Tree Nut will be apprehended?
Not really, he climbs higher. A Park Service employee lashes
the ladders to the tree to help facilitate a safe descent.
