Ice Storm Aftermath, February 14, 2007
(Happy Valentines Day)
The wind never got that strong, so morning broke with no new branches down.
This Mulberry tree branch, now touching the ground, is usually a stretch for me
to reach.
And then there's the wire situation.
Now you see him.
Now you don't. The overturned seed plate makes a private dining area.
I went out last night and knocked off the snow and ice.
A ten foot holly is now a six foot holly.
This formerly robust oak-leaf hydrangea took a beating.
Beautiful in the morning sun.
A neighbor starts scraping.
