Part 3, The First Of Two Riding Classes

When I arrived at 12:30, most of the afternoon group was already there.

The morning group was just starting the last exercise of their day,
which seemed to be about starting, going fast, and stopping quickly.

One of the instructors from the morning would be with us in the afternoon,
and this young woman arrived to be the other instructor for our class.

It was very, very, hot and humid, so we started in the shade.

I was on a 250 cc Honda Rebel, a touring cruiser a year or two older than this one

My pal Joern showed up and took a few pictures during exercises.

It was so hot, one student drenched her shirt in ice water and wore it.

At this point I was doing really well.

At the end we had our wrap-up session in the shade. It had been a full afternoon.

By the end of the class, I was tired and sore and very glad to get back on the blue streak and head for home.
Lucky for me I have a week to recuperate before the second and final riding class, and before the class riding test.
