Scooter Crash: The Next Day

December 12, 2006

Woke up very sore after a difficult night during which I couldn't find a comfortable
position where I wasn't laying on one or another of my many tender bruises.

Sent the web page link to friends and family, and
got many fine responses, including, from my Dad:

"The upbeat pictures certainly reflect the joy of the
lucky escape from a more serious outcome."

Went to work, but on the way stopped at Milford Towing to check the wreck.

At work I parked in front in a visitor spot to save steps.

Then at lunchtime I spotted Seth driving the scooter back to the shop.

Went to lunch with long-time friends Margaret, Ed, and Emily.

Our waitress, Amy, recognized me from soccer (Becca played with Amy's sister, Kate).

Worked fairly hard all afternoon, then went to dinner with other friends.

Leah got home from travel for work, and all is well with the world.
