Scooter Crash: The Hospital

Half-way to the hospital I got light-headed, so I got oxygen.

Arrival at the E.R.

My bed, before I got in it.

Some of the many very pleasant E.R. staff people.

My E.R. doctor and the EMTs that brought me in.

I got an EKG, an IV, and a chest X-Ray.

My view from the E.R. bed.

Leah cancelled two meetings (with her boss and a V.P.) to come to my aid.

Getting ready to work on the knee.

This lady did the irrigation and the needlework.

I didn't like it at first. Even so, Leah had fun with the camera.

Irrigation.

Needlework.

Feeling better now.

All sewn up.

Leah letting our insurance know to expect a bill.

This lady came in to bandage the wound.

And this lady came in to take the last of the readings.

And this lady came in to check on the machine.

And this lady came in to unhook everything.

So, it turned out I have a gash on my knee that took a few stitches to close,
some sore ribs, and a bunch of hip, butt, and back bruises, but otherwise, I'm A-OK.
I spent the morning in the E.R., but no signs of serious damage.

Time to get back to work.
