Drove to work today up Indian Hill Road from Madisonville. I took some pictures of the crash scene, picked up some pieces, and went to the Indian Hill Ranger offices to get a copy of the police report from my records. |
This was the scene on Monday.
And this is how I got there:
Here's the view from Plainfield looking east up Indian Hill Road.
Looking up the hill around the first curve toward the second curve.
Having come out of the second curve, looking up the hill.
Near the top of the hill, the road swings left, then right.
There's an arrow to warn you about the sharp right turn.
After the crash, the bike ended up by that hydrant.
Looking down the hill past the crash site.
I picked up a few leftover bits and pieces.
I also stopped to pick up the police report.
I was surprised to see the SUV driver had hit the bike.
